WPPI, or what happens in Vegas gets posted on the blog!

We just returned from a week in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. We attended the WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) convention and tradeshow. Yes, we went to Vegas for work rather than vacation, but it was a great time. We learned an incredible amount, and Lisa and I are always trying to further our photographic education to continue to offer our clients incredible images and an even better experience. We attended classes taught by some of the best photographers in the industry,  met some amazing people, and made new friends from all around the country.

Some of the highlights of the week were some great photo shoots, which you will see in blog posts in the coming days, as well as the [b] school party, a great time with wonderful friends. While a week in Vegas is always a good time, this week was a lot of work with very little sleep. This was our first time at WPPI (definitely not our last) and our schedule was jam packed trying to get it all in. The popular classes had lines forming hours before just to try to get a seat in the room, and we of course had to squeeze in plenty of time at the tradeshow meeting people and finding the coolest new products for our clients.

We just got back, so we are still a little frazzled and our sleep schedule is completely out of whack. We are still trying to wrap our heads around everything we learned, but in the meantime, we wanted to say hi to all our new friends who might be checking out this blog, and show everyone a few sneak peeks from the three photo shoots. Check back over the next few days for more!
