We hope you enjoyed the first half of Dawn and Jamie’s wedding and are eagerly anticipating the second half! Well, you needn’t wait any longer. Here are some of our favorite reception shots from their incredible fall wedding.  Their reception was held in the ballroom of the Hilton Garden Inn in Troy, NY. We returned Dawn and Jamie from their downtown Troy portrait session straight into the party. Dawn and Jamie were introduced and then went into their first dance to “Only You Can Love Me This Way” by Keith Urban, which if you have never heard it before, go prepare the tissues and listen. It is a truly beautiful song. We took a short break to eat dinner and to prepare our dancing feet for the party ahead of us. Once everyone was thoroughly rested there were parent dances which always make for many beautiful pictures. Then it was on to our favorite part of the night: CAKE! If you don’t know us then you probably don’t know of our deep love and appreciation for cake, but this was not just any cake, it was a Coccadotts cake. Coccadotts has a bakery that sells cupcakes that are just this side of amazing and we love them almost as much as their amazing wedding cakes! Then Greg Frasier of Frasier Entertainment really got the party going and kept it going for the rest of the night. There were plenty of memorable moments during the reception. Dawn, Jamie and even Breonna (their daughter and adorable flower girl) were out on the dance floor all night from the first dance to the last song having a blast with their friends and family. They even did a group hug at the end of the night! We wish them all the best as they start their life together as husband and wife. Make sure to leave your well wishes and comments for them below! You’ve all hopefully by now seen Angela and Richard’s ceremony and their session in Congress Park, so now it’s time to show off some of our favorite shots from their reception. They had their reception at the Saratoga-Wilton Elks Lodge. The reception had a beautiful fall theme with vibrant reds and purples. The reception really did feel like a blending of the families, and everyone had an amazing time. There were lots of personal touches, most of them made by Angela, and her mother even made the favors, with fresh jars of jam, pickles, and other tasty items. Ryno Entertainment DJ’d the event and everyone had a great time. Check out some of out favorite shots from the evening!

Angela and Richard had been taking dance lessons and wowed everyone by performing a Waltz to Journey’s “Open Arms” for their first dance.

We don’t normally post images from the Father-Daughter dance, but we just couldn’t pass these next two up.

The Elks Lodge has a gazebo out back, and it was pitch black, but you know we have to do our After Dark Session, so we made our own light and LOVE the way these turned out!

Not bad for a pitch black gazebo with no built in lighting huh?

Believe it or not, when we were on our way to the bride’s house for the wedding we had the very next day, we ran across this. How random is that? We just had to bust out the camera and capture it!

For those of you who haven’t seen the first half of Katie and Seth’s awesome Saratoga Springs wedding, please click here first. For the rest of you, welcome back! We now join the happy couple as they’re leaving their post wedding photo session at Congress Park in downtown Saratoga.

Katie and Seth met during a track weekend in Saratoga one night after a race. Katie grew up in the area, and Seth went every year with his friends to go to the horse races. This connection became the theme of this wedding, and everything from the decorations to the groom’s outfit was based around Saratoga and it’s history of horse racing. Needless to say, we were pretty excited when Seth got us permission to shoot some photos at the race track. Getting to shoot on the track was a great experience and led to some really amazing photos. After that, it was off to the beautiful Universal Preservation Hall, an old Methodist meeting hall, which is now a huge, incredible event space. The tables were all named after horses that raced on the day they met, and appropriately, their table was named after “Planets Aligned.” We’re really excited to be showing you these images, and we hope you love them as much as we do!

Here’s the Universal Preservation Hall – It looks a lot like a church, but it makes for a stunning reception space.

The Saratoga theme continued throughout – these horseshoes made an appearance everywhere!

Katie made all the amazing place cards, menus, and table cards herself, with the chocolate horseshoe favors made by Saratoga Sweets.

The room was just beautiful!

After the wedding, they walked with their guests to the place where it all started, the Saratoga City Tavern, for a late night drink.

For everyone who has been anxiously awaiting these, here is the second half of their preview. We need to keep you guys anxiously awaiting more! Check out some of our favorite shots from their reception, but first, we’re going to start out with some more from their Romatics session out in Forest Park in Springfield, MA before we headed back to the party at the Barney Carriage House.  It was such a fun reception, both families and all their friends had such an amazing time. DJ Tony Valley kept the dance floor packed for the entire evening, and the open air tent just added to the party feel. Since we are originally from Florida, we love that during the summer you can have open air weddings in New England without the sweltering heat and humidity. Well, here’s the update, with a little extra bling!

Here’s a long exposure shot of the Barney Carriage House just after sunset. Love the color here! You can see their tent where the reception is taking place just to the right.

One of the coolest things at their reception was the candy bar. The freshly chocolate dipped pretzel sticks and the toffee covered marshmallows were to die for!

Jarred and Hilary let us take them out of their reception for 10 minutes to get some awesome portraits. We never like to take a couple away from their party for too long, but we love getting the opportunity for a few minutes with them around sunset or after dark to create some really moody, romantic portraits. Keep that in mind when planning your wedding, you can get some great images from this!

After Sam and Josh had their beautiful wedding ceremony at the Pines Theater in Look Park in Northampton, MA, we took them for a brief portrait session and then it was off to their reception at the Garden House next door. We only spent about 10 minutes for portraits afterwards since they opted for the first look before the ceremony. All their family formals were done, so they got to hang out with all their guests at the cocktail hour. It was a very laid back reception, which was very fitting for the couple. They had a first dance (to “You Are The Best Thing by Ray LaMontagne, which fit the two of them PERFECTLY) and toasts, and the rest of the night was completely unscheduled. The bride and groom’s laid back attitude allowed the night to flow naturally and everyone had a great time.  Here are a few of our favorites:

This next one is one of our favorite shots of the wedding. Sam really knows how to work that smile for the camera:

There were little Irish touches that showed up throughout their wedding day.

The entrance of the bridal party was certainly animated……

However, the real party started when Sam and Josh entered. Some of you may remember that Josh is a HUGE soccer fan and a player himself, so since this wedding was right in the midst of the World Cup, there was a hint of those festivities around the room, including the happy couple entering to shoults of Ole, Ole, Ole! Josh made such a rockstar entrance here, he even sacrificed a small part of his pants leg to this floor, but it was well worth it for this entrance:

Samantha’s sister gave a very touching, beautiful toast.

Today we’re really excited to show off the second half of Erika and David’s wedding preview. These are a few of our favorite shots that we got during their reception, after the wedding party came down the hill (see the last post if you don’t know what we’re talking about). They came down to Mezze, a great new Italian restaurant in Williamstown that we will no doubt be going back to try very soon. Mezze just recently moved to their new space, and as of the wedding, they had not yet opened, so this was their FIRST event, and they pulled it off flawlessly. It was a beautiful space with great food. We definitely recommend it.

We mentioned before that Erika and David met at Williams College, and there were a lot of alumni in the crowd as well. Everyone had an amazing time, there was great food, the guests all had a lot of fun on the dance floor, and a lot of the guests even went back to the inn they were staying at to party afterwards! Erika and David were so incredibly laid back during their wedding, they were a joy to work with. Check out some of these fun pictures and leave a little comment love for the happy couple below!

Here’s Mezze, it’s a really great space.

Remember what I said in the last post about the violins? I loved this detail inside the restaurant.

The purple cow is the Williams College mascot, sitting here on top of totally delicious carrot cake.

Erika is really into dancing the Argentine tango. She had these incredible shoes that were custom made in Argentina. She actually went barefoot for the entire ceremony and the walk down the hill, but put these on before the first dance.

The danced an Argentine tango for their first dance. It was gorgeous, and the sunset through the window only make it look that much cooler.

This girl was newly engaged and very happy to be showing off her bling!

Erika’s face here is priceless. Looks like she was having a blast.

When we posted their engagement session, we had this awesome photo of David picking up Erika. However, when we posted the photos to our Facebook fan page, there was a comment from one of their friends that it should have been her picking him up, so, this happened:

We grabbed this shot of them as they were on their way over to the 1896 House Inn across the street, and we totally want to turn this into the final spread in their album. LOVE IT!

For the second half of our wedding preview, we’re going to show you our favorites from Jen and Chris’ incredible reception at the Carriage House at the Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster, MA. In keeping with the incredible Cape Cod location, the beach details continued throughout the reception area. Chris is a HUGE movie fan, and each table was named after a beach or tropical themed movie. The blue lighting in the room really added to the atmosphere, and the deck outside gave everyone a chance to grab some cool ocean breezes when they needed a break from the dance floor. Lots of the guests had to take advantage of this, because the dance floor was seriously rocking all night long. They actually did shut the place down, and Chris really knows how to get down on the dance floor. All the wedding guests were a lot of fun, and we had a blast shooting this wedding. The night was a mix of wild moments, like you’re about to see, and some incredibly touching ones, like a slideshow dedicated to Jen’s late father. It was a beautiful, incredible night. They had one of the coolest beach themed cakes we’ve seen. Love the details here!

Jen and Chris had a whole dance routine planned out, and they really showed off on the dance floor.

We hear the song YMCA at a lot of weddings. This one was a little different though. Chris’ dad LOVES the song, and the crowd got really into it when the groom and his groomsmen busted out the Village People hats and some fake moustaches to go with the song. His dad even joined in. Check these out!

This next one is easily my favorite shot from the reception. I just love the expression and the lighting!
