Here it is, the last engagement session for our 2010 couples. The next engagement session you see here will start off the 2011 wedding season! We had a great time during this session up on the shores of Lake George, NY. It proved to be an amazing backdrop with the Adirondack Mountains rising at the other side of the lake. It was a beautiful night with an amazing couple, and we are really excited to share this session with you. We’re really excited for their wedding this fall in Saratoga Springs, NY, and we already know that we will get some amazing photos with these two. Anyone who has ever been to Lake George in the summer knows how beautiful it is, but also how crowded it can be. Angela and Richard’s Engagement Preview 1 | Albany, NY Wedding Photography

It’s been a little while since Angela and Richard’s teaser from their engagement session, but these images are worth the wait! Their Saratoga Springs wedding is a short time away, and we are almost as excited about it as they are. They met up with us at beautiful Lake George, NY at the base of the Adirondacks for their engagement session, and it made a perfect backdrop to capture this awesome couple. Check out some of our favorite images from the session, with more to come tomorrow!

The sun hid behind a gray overcast all day, but made one very brief appearance that we were able to capture.

We found a GREAT pier to shoot on. What is a lake without a pier anyway?

We realize that we are blogging at almost 2 am, and with work looming tomorrow, maybe we should be going to bed. Despite this, we have an image we just HAVE to share with you. We just got back from shooting a really fun engagement session with Angela and Richard up in Lake George. The weather held off and we were able to get some great shots, and we wanted to just give you a little teaser that Lisa shot, so check it out!

Connie and Steve are Married! | Saratoga Springs, NY Wedding Photography

Connie and Steve are over at our place currently getting the first look at their wedding photos, so I’m also sharing them with all of you! Unfortunately, the rest of you don’t get the champagne, cocktails, and cupcakes that go with one of our photo reveals Sorry about that, but if you book your wedding with us, we will have plenty of cupcakes and champagne for you too! They had a gorgeous wedding ceremony at the South Glens Falls United Methodist Church, with their reception at the Saratoga-Wilton Elks. The Elks was a little tough to find, but it had a really nice space for the reception. The wedding was a lot of fun, complete with a great dinner, dancing, and even Elvis! Be sure to look at the earlier preview posts for an explanation of that one. Jessica and Devin’s Engagement Preview 2 | Albany, NY Wedding Photography

Here’s the second installment of Jessica and Devin’s engagement session from the Ooms Conservation Area near Albany, NY. This was such a fun session filled with laughter and joy that we really can’t wait for their wedding. This session really was perfect for a beautiful spring day here in upstate NY, despite having to take our little hybrid down some dirt roads to get there, and let me assure you, it prefers pavement. The views and the couple made it worth it though. Check out these photos and stay tuned for the rest from their session soon!

Jessica and Devin’s Engagement Preview 1 | Albany, NY Wedding Photography

For those of you waiting patiently since the sneak preview of Jessica and Devin’s session from last week, We wanted to show off a few more preview images while we finish working on the rest of them. We had a great time at this engagement session at the Ooms Conservation Area, just south of Albany off the Taconic State Parkway in Columbia County. Ooms is one of their favorite spots, one where they spend a lot of time together, so we decided to go capture them in it. The weather was gorgeous, and the rolling green hills and the incredible grass were a joy to work in. I usually post a good number of black and white photos, but the amazing greens and blues of this session just have to be seen. Their wedding will be even more scenic, on a mountaintop overlooking five states, and you’ll hear more about that later! For now, here is a little preview of the session. More to come tomorrow!

Connie and Steve’s Wedding Preview 1 | Saratoga Springs, NY Wedding Photography

Welcome to the real start of wedding season here at Scott Kretschmann Photography. Connie and Steve were our first wedding this spring, and they sure started it off on the right foot. The wedding ceremony was at the South Glens Falls United Methodist Church, which you will see here has a gorgeous natural wood interior, and the reception was at the Saratoga-Wilton Elks Lodge in Saratoga Springs. We will tell you a lot more about the wedding soon, but to hold you over, here is the first preview post of some of our favorite images from the wedding. Connie and Steve, we hope you enjoyed your beach vacation this past week, and we hope you enjoy these images even more!

I love the detail on the bridesmaids’ dresses. They were gorgeous.

April and Ethan’s Engagement Preview 1 | Albany, NY Wedding Photography

April and Ethan were definitely one of the most outgoing couples we have had, and we had such a blast shooting with them. They joined us in Schenectady’s Central Park during a trip up here together and gave up a little time with their families to do this great session with us. They live a long way away from New York, and also a long way away from each other, so getting them here for this session was pretty lucky, but the images we got out of it should be totally worth it!
