We love to travel for weddings, and since Boston is one of our favorite cities, it wasn’t too difficult for Scott to convince us to make our way out there for their beautiful fall wedding. These two live in Brooklyn, where we went for their engagement photos, but they made the trip back to their former home of Boston for their wedding at Glen Magna Farms.

When you first meet Colleen and Scott, they seem like a very nice, unassuming, cute couple. That’s until you hear their ridiculous list of accomplishments. In addition to being talented runners they have built schools in Africa, run a lot of marathons ( for fun-we still don’t get it),  Colleen has worked with Teach for America, and Scott is a successful lawyer. These two really embrace everything in life and most of all, are so in tune with each other as they go through their many adventures. Even though we only met via phone we knew right away they were a Scott K kinda couple.

Their wedding day was overcast, but it didn’t lighten the mood one bit. Glen Magna was awesome with waiting on the weather, they didn’t make the call until an hour before the ceremony, and the rain held off just long enough for them to have a gorgeous outdoor ceremony. We did get a little rain during their After Dark session, but that just added to the mood Without further ado,here are some of our favorites from the day!

After the ceremony, we moved into the main house for the reception, which was beautiful and  thankfully a little drier. Thanks to Debbie for grabbing these details while we were grabbing a few extra family formals!

Despite being photographers based out of Albany, NY, we love to travel. We actually shoot as many weddings and engagements in New England as we do in New York, and we really love that part of the country. For those of you who follow this blog, you’ll see a lot of posts coming out of Massachusetts. This one is going to be no different, as Steve and Jen met up with us in between weddings in the great city of Boston for their engagement session. Every time we make it to Boston, we fall in love with the city all over again. It’s pretty easy for us to photograph love in a city that brings out the same in us, so we were really pleased to be able to shoot there. This session started off in Beacon Hill and we finished up by the harbor in Christopher Columbus Park just before the rain moved in. We had a great time and can’t wait for their beautiful Stowe, VT wedding this fall. Check out their slideshow and follow the link afterwards to see all the images!

Welcome back everyone! We’re really excited tonight to share with you the second half of Steve and Jen’s Engagement Session preview from their session in Boston, MA. We always love spending time in Boston, and it’s even better when we get to spend tike getting to know a couple like Jen and Steve. They’ll be getting married this labor day weekend at the Green Mountain Inn in Stowe, VT and we can’t wait to go up there and capture their day. The photos from this half of the preview were all taken in and around Christopher Columbus Park, right by the harbor. Enjoy!

During one of our many drives across beautiful New England (can you tell how much we love to travel?) we stopped off in Boston, one of our absolute favorite cities. Jen and Steve joined us there for their engagement session. They are actually having a bit of a destination wedding in beautiful Stowe, VT this labor day weekend, but we figured we’d shoot their engagement session a little closer to home. Rain clouds were threatening most of the day, but luckily it held off till just after we finished our session. We explored the amazing Beacon Hill neighborhood and then went down to the harbor and Christopher Columbus Park.  Check out the first half of our favorites from their session, and come back tomorrow night for more!

During all our recent travel in Massachusetts recently, we made a stopover in Boston over the weekend to shoot Jen and Steve’s engagement session. We had a great time even though our shoot got cut a little short due to impending rain. We started off shooting a few shots in the Beacon Hill neighborhood, and finished on the harbor around Christopher Columbus Park. Lisa and I had a great time in the city as always, and these two made it even more fun.
