We’ve had Hilary and Jarred’s wedding photos ready for a while now, and we’re excited to be finally able to share them with you now that the happy couple can see them too! Hilary and Jarred met with us last fall, and they were one of the first couples to take the chance on us since we moved our business from Florida up to Albany, NY. Their wedding was a beautiful affair in Springfield, MA at the Barney Carriage House. It’s a beautiful old estate in the middle of Forest Park, which gave us some beautiful scenery for the photos. It was a really intimate affair with all their close family and friends.




The ceremony took place under the gazebo on the property, and we stole the couple away afterwards for some fun pictures around the park. Afterwards, DJ Tony V kept the dance floor moving all night long, while people made numerous trips to the awesome candy and chocolate bar that Hilary and Jarred had – the chocolate coconut covered marshmallows were our personal favorite! These two were awesome for letting us pull them out for 10 minutes during our reception for an After Dark Session where we got to take some really cool nighttime photos of them. It was such a great wedding, and we’re so excited to be showing these to you.

For everyone who has been anxiously awaiting these, here is the second half of their preview. We need to keep you guys anxiously awaiting more! Check out some of our favorite shots from their reception, but first, we’re going to start out with some more from their Romatics session out in Forest Park in Springfield, MA before we headed back to the party at the Barney Carriage House.  It was such a fun reception, both families and all their friends had such an amazing time. DJ Tony Valley kept the dance floor packed for the entire evening, and the open air tent just added to the party feel. Since we are originally from Florida, we love that during the summer you can have open air weddings in New England without the sweltering heat and humidity. Well, here’s the update, with a little extra bling!

Here’s a long exposure shot of the Barney Carriage House just after sunset. Love the color here! You can see their tent where the reception is taking place just to the right.

One of the coolest things at their reception was the candy bar. The freshly chocolate dipped pretzel sticks and the toffee covered marshmallows were to die for!

Jarred and Hilary let us take them out of their reception for 10 minutes to get some awesome portraits. We never like to take a couple away from their party for too long, but we love getting the opportunity for a few minutes with them around sunset or after dark to create some really moody, romantic portraits. Keep that in mind when planning your wedding, you can get some great images from this!

Sorry everyone for the lack of blog posts recently, but we’ve been traveling and working like crazy. We promise we will catch you up on all the excitement soon! For now, we wanted to share Hilary and Jarred’s wedding preview with you. These two got married in Springfield, MA at the Barney Carriage House in Forest Park. We’re going to share our favorite images from their pre-wedding preparation and their ceremony with you today. The Carriage House itself is a really beautiful, historic location to have a wedding and it was a joy to shoot at. The rest of the park leads to some great photo opportunities also, but we’ll save that for the next post. Hilary and Jarred both shone with pure joy and happiness that day, and you can definitely see it here in the photos. We hope you enjoy them!

Hilary and Jarred had a gorgeous wedding this weekend at the Barney Carriage House at Forest Park in Springfield, MA. The wedding was really well planned down to even the tiniest detail, and everyone had such an amazing time, I’m sure their friends and family will be talking about it for years to come.
