We just got back from shooting a really fun engagement session with Angela and Richard up in Lake George. Jen and Steve’s Engagement Preview 2 | Boston, MA Wedding Photography

Welcome back everyone! We’re really excited tonight to share with you the second half of Steve and Jen’s Engagement Session preview from their session in Boston, MA. We always love spending time in Boston, and it’s even better when we get to spend tike getting to know a couple like Jen and Steve. They’ll be getting married this labor day weekend at the Green Mountain Inn in Stowe, VT and we can’t wait to go up there and capture their day. The photos from this half of the preview were all taken in and around Christopher Columbus Park, right by the harbor. Enjoy!

Jen and Steven’s Engagement Preview 1 | Boston, MA Wedding Photography

During one of our many drives across beautiful New England (can you tell how much we love to travel?) we stopped off in Boston, one of our absolute favorite cities. Jen and Steve joined us there for their engagement session. They are actually having a bit of a destination wedding in beautiful Stowe, VT this labor day weekend, but we figured we’d shoot their engagement session a little closer to home. Rain clouds were threatening most of the day, but luckily it held off till just after we finished our session. We explored the amazing Beacon Hill neighborhood and then went down to the harbor and Christopher Columbus Park. Check out the first half of our favorites from their session, and come back tomorrow night for more!

Hilary and Jarred’s Wedding Preview 2 | Springfield, MA Wedding Photography

For everyone who has been anxiously awaiting these, here is the second half of their preview. We need to keep you guys anxiously awaiting more! Check out some of our favorite shots from their reception, but first, we’re going to start out with some more from their Romatics session out in Forest Park in Springfield, MA before we headed back to the party at the Barney Carriage House. It was such a fun reception, both families and all their friends had such an amazing time. DJ Tony Valley kept the dance floor packed for the entire evening, and the open air tent just added to the party feel. Since we are originally from Florida, we love that during the summer you can have open air weddings in New England without the sweltering heat and humidity. It really was a perfect evening for a perfect wedding. Check out these images and leave Hilary and Jarred some comment love and your best wishes below in the comments section!

Hilary didn’t really trust Jarred to dip her during their engagement session. Looks like they’ve been practicing…

This door made for such an amazing backdrop. You only have to spend a few minutes with these two to tell how much they love each other. Just check out the looks they are giving each other!

Everyone remember the Signature Shot from their engagement session?

Well, here’s the update, with a little extra bling!

Here’s a long exposure shot of the Barney Carriage House just after sunset. Love the color here! You can see their tent where the reception is taking place just to the right.

A couple of the groomsmen here. I love the vintage feel of this photo.

One of the coolest things at their reception was the candy bar. The freshly chocolate dipped pretzel sticks and the toffee covered marshmallows were to die for!

Jarred and Hilary let us take them out of their reception for 10 minutes to get some awesome portraits. We never like to take a couple away from their party for too long, but we love getting the opportunity for a few minutes with them around sunset or after dark to create some really moody, romantic portraits. Keep that in mind when planning your wedding, you can get some great images from this!

Hilary and Jarred’s Wedding Preview 1 | Springfield, MA Wedding Photography

Sorry everyone for the lack of blog posts recently, but we’ve been traveling and working like crazy. We promise we will catch you up on all the excitement soon! For now, we wanted to share Hilary and Jarred’s wedding preview with you. These two got married in Springfield, MA at the Barney Carriage House in Forest Park. We’re going to share our favorite images from their pre-wedding preparation and their ceremony with you today. The Carriage House itself is a really beautiful, historic location to have a wedding and it was a joy to shoot at. The rest of the park leads to some great photo opportunities also, but we’ll save that for the next post. Hilary and Jarred both shone with pure joy and happiness that day, and you can definitely see it here in the photos. We hope you enjoy them!

Erika and David are Married! | Williamstown, MA Wedding Photography

We’re really excited tonight to be showing you all of Erika and David’s images from their incredible wedding in Williamstown, MA. They decided to go with a “first look” at the base of Sheep Hill, just down the hill from their ceremony site. They had as really romantic moment to themselves (with us along to document, of course) before the day completely swept them up. This also allowed us to get all of their photos out of the way so they could go straight to their cocktail hour and spend more time with their guests. After the first look, we made it up to the top of the hill and got to revel in an amazing view of the Berkshires. Most people not from the area don’t realize how beautiful Western Massachusetts can be. Following a beautiful ceremony atop the hill, they followed a violinist down the hill to their reception site, the amazing Mezze restaurant. These two were incredibly laid back the entire day, so much so that Erika even went barefoot during the ceremony! That changed though during the reception, when after a great meal, she put on her custom made argentine tango shoes and took to the dance floor with David to show off some incredible dance moves. Their Tango was so elegant, it was really hard to describe. The night eded up being a complete blast and everyone had an amazing time. Jessica and Devin are Engaged! | Albany, NY Wedding Photography

As this blog post is going live, Jessica and Devin are seeing their engagement photos for the first time at a cocktail viewing at our place. Nothing like a little champagne and some awesome photos on a big screen TV! Since they are now seeing them, I can show them to you all as well. They met up with us at the Ooms Conservation Area just south of Albany, NY on a beautiful spring day. This place was really special to them, and we had a great shoot in the great outdoors. We usually shoot outside on location, but this was a lot more nature than we usually get to see, and it made for an amazing backdrop for this fun couple. They were laughing and playing around during their whole shoot! We can’t wait to shoot their wedding at the Point Lookout Mountain Inn atop the gorgeous catskill mountains this October. Jen and Steve’s Engagement Teaser | Boston Wedding Photography

During all our recent travel in Massachusetts recently, we made a stopover in Boston over the weekend to shoot Jen and Steve’s engagement session. We had a great time even though our shoot got cut a little short due to impending rain. We started off shooting a few shots in the Beacon Hill neighborhood, and finished on the harbor around Christopher Columbus Park. Lisa and I had a great time in the city as always, and these two made it even more fun. Jen and Chris are Married! | Cape Cod Wedding Photography

As of the time this blog post goes up, Jen and Chris are getting their first look with us at their wedding photos, and we are really excited to be bringing them to you! They got married a few weeks ago at the Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster, MA on beautiful Cape Cod. It was our first destination wedding of the season, and we LOVE traveling and seeing all the great stuff that a new place has to offer. Jen and Chris had a beautiful wedding that felt just like a vacation for everyone involved. The location was beautiful. The rain threatened all day, but we managed to get some great beach photos in anyway, and the skies looked incredible in them! The ceremony was held out in front of the Carriage House at Ocean Edge, and it was a beautiful setting. After grabbing the portraits on the beach, we went to the reception, and the bride and groom were tearing up the dance floor all night, with some costumed help from the groomsmen during YMCA.
