Sarah and Travis’ Wedding Teaser | Williamstown, MA Wedding Photography

It’s just after midnight, which is remarkably early for me to be blogging. 2 or 3 am is getting normal these days during the peak of wedding season! But tonight, I’ll at least be getting a little more sleep that normal, before I get up tomorrow and push on through editing this AMAZING wedding from this weekend.

Sarah and Travis were married at the Thompson Memorial Chapel on the campus of Williams College in Williamstown, MA. It was a gorgeous wedding and was some of the most fun we’ve had all year. You’ll hear all about it in the preview posts headed your way soon, but for now, we wanted to give you and the couple a little teaser pic. We showed off some of their amazing images at the wedding reception, but we wanted to put one up that their guests didn’t have the opportunity to see before.

These two were cool enough to let us pull them out for 10 minutes near the end of their reception for one of our “After Dark Sessions” which we love to do to get some non-traditional, cool shots of the couple. This was one of those images in front of their reception site, the WIlliams Inn. They will be off to tropical climes for their honeymoon in the morning, but hopefully they get to see this wicked shot (a term that Floridians like us are slowly picking up from the MA crowd) before they get on their plane for their honeymoon. We promise lots more when you guys get back!

Happy Anniversary Polly and Thomas! | Manchester, VT Wedding Photography

We want to wish Polly and Thomas a very happy first anniversary today. One year ago, we shot their incredible wedding in Dorset, Vermont, just outside of Manchester. It was a beautiful elegant affair in Thomas’ parents back yard, which turned out to be the perfect setting with the beautiful Green Mountains in the background. This wedding was so amazing that it is now featured as our biggest, most amazing sample album in our studio, so come by and see if if you really want to experience this wedding! Anyway, we hope you two are having the most amazing day and celebrating together, and we wanted to show off an image to everyone that we didn’t get to feature on the blog last year that we absolutely love. Hilary and Jarred are Married! | Springfield, MA Wedding Photography

We’ve had Hilary and Jarred’s wedding photos ready for a while now, and we’re excited to be finally able to share them with you now that the happy couple can see them too! Hilary and Jarred met with us last fall, and they were one of the first couples to take the chance on us since we moved our business from Florida up to Albany, NY. Their wedding was a beautiful affair in Springfield, MA at the Barney Carriage House. It’s a beautiful old estate in the middle of Forest Park, which gave us some beautiful scenery for the photos. It was a really intimate affair with all their close family and friends.

The ceremony took place under the gazebo on the property, and we stole the couple away afterwards for some fun pictures around the park. Afterwards, DJ Tony V kept the dance floor moving all night long, while people made numerous trips to the awesome candy and chocolate bar that Hilary and Jarred had – the chocolate coconut covered marshmallows were our personal favorite! These two were awesome for letting us pull them out for 10 minutes during our reception for an After Dark Session where we got to take some really cool nighttime photos of them. It was such a great wedding, and we’re so excited to be showing these to you.

Samantha and Josh are Married! | Northampton, MA Wedding Photography

Samantha and Josh got married in beautiful Look Park in Northampton, MA, and it couldn’t have been a more amazing day. The Pines Theater nestled in the trees at the park provided a truly spectacular backdrop for their intimate ceremony. The guests then moved off to the Garden House just up the hill while we got to spend a little time with the two newlyweds for some intimate, relaxed portraits before they walked over to join the party. From there, the evening was incredibly relaxed and a lot of fun. Since Josh is such a huge soccer fan and a player himself, the wedding was infused with a little World Cup spirit and excitement. Thank you guys for allowing us to be a part of your day and we wish you many happy years together!

Hilary and Jarred’s Wedding Preview 2 | Springfield, MA Wedding Photography

For everyone who has been anxiously awaiting these, here is the second half of their preview. We need to keep you guys anxiously awaiting more! Check out some of our favorite shots from their reception, but first, we’re going to start out with some more from their Romatics session out in Forest Park in Springfield, MA before we headed back to the party at the Barney Carriage House. It was such a fun reception, both families and all their friends had such an amazing time. DJ Tony Valley kept the dance floor packed for the entire evening, and the open air tent just added to the party feel. Since we are originally from Florida, we love that during the summer you can have open air weddings in New England without the sweltering heat and humidity. It really was a perfect evening for a perfect wedding. Check out these images and leave Hilary and Jarred some comment love and your best wishes below in the comments section!

This door made for such an amazing backdrop. You only have to spend a few minutes with these two to tell how much they love each other. Just check out the looks they are giving each other!

Everyone remember the Signature Shot from their engagement session?

Well, here’s the update, with a little extra bling!

Here’s a long exposure shot of the Barney Carriage House just after sunset. Love the color here! You can see their tent where the reception is taking place just to the right.

A couple of the groomsmen here. I love the vintage feel of this photo.

One of the coolest things at their reception was the candy bar. The freshly chocolate dipped pretzel sticks and the toffee covered marshmallows were to die for!

Jarred and Hilary let us take them out of their reception for 10 minutes to get some awesome portraits. We never like to take a couple away from their party for too long, but we love getting the opportunity for a few minutes with them around sunset or after dark to create some really moody, romantic portraits. Keep that in mind when planning your wedding, you can get some great images from this!

Hilary and Jarred’s Wedding Preview 1 | Springfield, MA Wedding Photography

Sorry everyone for the lack of blog posts recently, but we’ve been traveling and working like crazy. We promise we will catch you up on all the excitement soon! For now, we wanted to share Hilary and Jarred’s wedding preview with you. These two got married in Springfield, MA at the Barney Carriage House in Forest Park. We’re going to share our favorite images from their pre-wedding preparation and their ceremony with you today. The Carriage House itself is a really beautiful, historic location to have a wedding and it was a joy to shoot at. The rest of the park leads to some great photo opportunities also, but we’ll save that for the next post. Hilary and Jarred both shone with pure joy and happiness that day, and you can definitely see it here in the photos. We hope you enjoy them!

Erika and David are Married! | Williamstown, MA Wedding Photography

We’re really excited tonight to be showing you all of Erika and David’s images from their incredible wedding in Williamstown, MA. They decided to go with a “first look” at the base of Sheep Hill, just down the hill from their ceremony site. They had as really romantic moment to themselves (with us along to document, of course) before the day completely swept them up. This also allowed us to get all of their photos out of the way so they could go straight to their cocktail hour and spend more time with their guests. After the first look, we made it up to the top of the hill and got to revel in an amazing view of the Berkshires. Most people not from the area don’t realize how beautiful Western Massachusetts can be. Following a beautiful ceremony atop the hill, they followed a violinist down the hill to their reception site, the amazing Mezze restaurant. These two were incredibly laid back the entire day, so much so that Erika even went barefoot during the ceremony! That changed though during the reception, when after a great meal, she put on her custom made argentine tango shoes and took to the dance floor with David to show off some incredible dance moves. Their Tango was so elegant, it was really hard to describe. The night eded up being a complete blast and everyone had an amazing time. Jen and Chris are Married! | Cape Cod Wedding Photography

As of the time this blog post goes up, Jen and Chris are getting their first look with us at their wedding photos, and we are really excited to be bringing them to you! They got married a few weeks ago at the Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster, MA on beautiful Cape Cod. It was our first destination wedding of the season, and we LOVE traveling and seeing all the great stuff that a new place has to offer. Jen and Chris had a beautiful wedding that felt just like a vacation for everyone involved. The location was beautiful. The rain threatened all day, but we managed to get some great beach photos in anyway, and the skies looked incredible in them! The ceremony was held out in front of the Carriage House at Ocean Edge, and it was a beautiful setting. After grabbing the portraits on the beach, we went to the reception, and the bride and groom were tearing up the dance floor all night, with some costumed help from the groomsmen during YMCA. Samantha and Josh’s Wedding Preview 2 | Northampton, MA Wedding Photography

After Sam and Josh had their beautiful wedding ceremony at the Pines Theater in Look Park in Northampton, MA, we took them for a brief portrait session and then it was off to their reception at the Garden House next door. We only spent about 10 minutes for portraits afterwards since they opted for the first look before the ceremony. All their family formals were done, so they got to hang out with all their guests at the cocktail hour. It was a very laid back reception, which was very fitting for the couple. They had a first dance (to “You Are The Best Thing by Ray LaMontagne, which fit the two of them PERFECTLY) and toasts, and the rest of the night was completely unscheduled. The bride and groom’s laid back attitude allowed the night to flow naturally and everyone had a great time. Here are a few of our favorites:

This next one is one of our favorite shots of the wedding. Sam really knows how to work that smile for the camera:

There were little Irish touches that showed up throughout their wedding day.

The entrance of the bridal party was certainly animated……

However, the real party started when Sam and Josh entered. Some of you may remember that Josh is a HUGE soccer fan and a player himself, so since this wedding was right in the midst of the World Cup, there was a hint of those festivities around the room, including the happy couple entering to shoults of Ole, Ole, Ole! Josh made such a rockstar entrance here, he even sacrificed a small part of his pants leg to this floor, but it was well worth it for this entrance:
