Annnndddd we are back with the much anticipated second blog post of Abby and Jack’s awesome wedding. Abby and Jack had an energetic crowd and it showed during the cheers as they entered their reception. After some sweet dances and toasts it was time to steal Abby and Jack for a short sunset session. We took them outside where there was some sweet sunset prettiness for us to photograph. We love to take our couples out at sunset for about 10 minutes to get some relaxed pictures in the good light. Trust us, these are 10 minutes you won’t regret! Not only did they go out for sunset but Abby and Jack plopped right down in the grass. We love couples who are willing to do anything we ask and trust that we will get great pictures. I think you will agree these are definitely some gorgeous pictures.

After they returned to the tent the party was rockin’ late into the night and we were there to capture all the highlights. Our girl Michelle was rockin’ the photobooth and the guests definitely took advantage of it. The dance floor stayed packed and what can we say other than the pictures show what an awesome crowd we got to work with for their wedding.

Abby and Jack – You guys are awesome! Thank you so much for trusting us with your wedding and being such troopers in the mud and the muck. You rock!

These two are major wine lovers, so the entire reception was wine themed!

Tara is a local photographer who has been helping us out by assisting at weddings and running our photo booth, and she thought it was about time she and her boyfriend Karl spent some time in front of the camera. We spent some time in downtown Albany, went back to their place and had a little time in the park with their dog Finnegan, and then headed just outside of the city to one of our favorite spots with the most killer sunset light. We’ve had Hilary and Jarred’s wedding photos ready for a while now, and we’re excited to be finally able to share them with you now that the happy couple can see them too! Hilary and Jarred met with us last fall, and they were one of the first couples to take the chance on us since we moved our business from Florida up to Albany, NY. Their wedding was a beautiful affair in Springfield, MA at the Barney Carriage House. It’s a beautiful old estate in the middle of Forest Park, which gave us some beautiful scenery for the photos. It was a really intimate affair with all their close family and friends.




The ceremony took place under the gazebo on the property, and we stole the couple away afterwards for some fun pictures around the park. Afterwards, DJ Tony V kept the dance floor moving all night long, while people made numerous trips to the awesome candy and chocolate bar that Hilary and Jarred had – the chocolate coconut covered marshmallows were our personal favorite! These two were awesome for letting us pull them out for 10 minutes during our reception for an After Dark Session where we got to take some really cool nighttime photos of them. It was such a great wedding, and we’re so excited to be showing these to you.

Connie and Steve are over at our place currently getting the first look at their wedding photos, so I’m also sharing them with all of you! Unfortunately, the rest of you don’t get the champagne, cocktails, and cupcakes that go with one of our photo reveals Sorry about that, but if you book your wedding with us, we will have plenty of cupcakes and champagne for you too! They had a gorgeous wedding ceremony at the South Glens Falls United Methodist Church, with their reception at the Saratoga-Wilton Elks. The Elks was a little tough to find, but it had a really nice space for the reception. The wedding was a lot of fun, complete with a great dinner, dancing, and even Elvis! Be sure to look at the earlier preview posts for an explanation of that one. April and Ethan met up with us at Central Park in Schenectady, NY on a beautiful spring day. They were up here visiting and doing some final wedding planning since they both come from out of town, so this is kind of like a destination wedding for them! They also live pretty far away from each other, so we got to spend some really valuable time with the two of them. We started off the day with them by taking some family portraits with their parents, followed by a little intimate time between the happy couple. They are goofy, funny, and completely in love, and between them and their awesome family, we know they will have a really fun wedding this October at the Gideon Putnam Resort in Saratoga Springs.
