Here it is, the last engagement session for our 2010 couples. The next engagement session you see here will start off the 2011 wedding season! We had a great time during this session up on the shores of Lake George, NY. It proved to be an amazing backdrop with the Adirondack Mountains rising at the other side of the lake. It was a beautiful night with an amazing couple, and we are really excited to share this session with you. We’re really excited for their wedding this fall in Saratoga Springs, NY, and we already know that we will get some amazing photos with these two. Jen and Steve are Engaged! | Boston, MA Engagement Session

Despite being photographers based out of Albany, NY, we love to travel. We actually shoot as many weddings and engagements in New England as we do in New York, and we really love that part of the country. For those of you who follow this blog, you’ll see a lot of posts coming out of Massachusetts. This one is going to be no different, as Steve and Jen met up with us in between weddings in the great city of Boston for their engagement session. Every time we make it to Boston, we fall in love with the city all over again. It’s pretty easy for us to photograph love in a city that brings out the same in us, so we were really pleased to be able to shoot there. This session started off in Beacon Hill and we finished up by the harbor in Christopher Columbus Park just before the rain moved in. We had a great time and can’t wait for their beautiful Stowe, VT wedding this fall. Check out their slideshow and follow the link afterwards to see all the images!

Anyone who has ever been to Lake George in the summer knows how beautiful it is, but also how crowded it can be. Angela and Richard’s Engagement Preview 1 | Albany, NY Wedding Photography

It’s been a little while since Angela and Richard’s teaser from their engagement session, but these images are worth the wait! Their Saratoga Springs wedding is a short time away, and we are almost as excited about it as they are. They met up with us at beautiful Lake George, NY at the base of the Adirondacks for their engagement session, and it made a perfect backdrop to capture this awesome couple. Check out some of our favorite images from the session, with more to come tomorrow!

The sun hid behind a gray overcast all day, but made one very brief appearance that we were able to capture.

We found a GREAT pier to shoot on. What is a lake without a pier anyway?

Angela and Ian are Engaged! | Worcester, MA Wedding Photography

Me met up with Angela and Ian on one of our many trips through Massachusetts to shoot their engagement session at the place where they first met their freshman year, Worcester Polytechnic Institute. We got some amazing golden light just around sunset, and the WPI campus provided a great backdrop for these fun photos. We are really looking forward to their wedding next month at the Hotel Northampton and can’t wait to share more with you from this amazing couple! Jen and Steve’s Engagement Preview 2 | Boston, MA Wedding Photography

Welcome back everyone! We’re really excited tonight to share with you the second half of Steve and Jen’s Engagement Session preview from their session in Boston, MA. We always love spending time in Boston, and it’s even better when we get to spend tike getting to know a couple like Jen and Steve. They’ll be getting married this labor day weekend at the Green Mountain Inn in Stowe, VT and we can’t wait to go up there and capture their day. The photos from this half of the preview were all taken in and around Christopher Columbus Park, right by the harbor. Enjoy!

Jen and Steven’s Engagement Preview 1 | Boston, MA Wedding Photography

During one of our many drives across beautiful New England (can you tell how much we love to travel?) we stopped off in Boston, one of our absolute favorite cities. Jen and Steve joined us there for their engagement session. They are actually having a bit of a destination wedding in beautiful Stowe, VT this labor day weekend, but we figured we’d shoot their engagement session a little closer to home. Rain clouds were threatening most of the day, but luckily it held off till just after we finished our session. We explored the amazing Beacon Hill neighborhood and then went down to the harbor and Christopher Columbus Park. Jessica and Devin are Engaged! | Albany, NY Wedding Photography

As this blog post is going live, Jessica and Devin are seeing their engagement photos for the first time at a cocktail viewing at our place. Nothing like a little champagne and some awesome photos on a big screen TV! Since they are now seeing them, I can show them to you all as well. They met up with us at the Ooms Conservation Area just south of Albany, NY on a beautiful spring day. This place was really special to them, and we had a great shoot in the great outdoors. We usually shoot outside on location, but this was a lot more nature than we usually get to see, and it made for an amazing backdrop for this fun couple. They were laughing and playing around during their whole shoot! We can’t wait to shoot their wedding at the Point Lookout Mountain Inn atop the gorgeous catskill mountains this October. Jen and Steve’s Engagement Teaser | Boston Wedding Photography

During all our recent travel in Massachusetts recently, we made a stopover in Boston over the weekend to shoot Jen and Steve’s engagement session. We had a great time even though our shoot got cut a little short due to impending rain. We started off shooting a few shots in the Beacon Hill neighborhood, and finished on the harbor around Christopher Columbus Park. Lisa and I had a great time in the city as always, and these two made it even more fun.
