Alyssa and Ryan’s Birch Hill Wedding | Albany Wedding Photographers
When you first meet them Alyssa and Ryan will catch your eye because they are a great looking couple but once you get to know them you see their love is deep and abiding. They blew us away with how well they fit together when we shot their engagement session so we were so excited for Alyssa and Ryan’s wedding day and it did not dissappoint! Their day was so full of love – for family, for friends, and most of all, for each other. Alyssa started the day in her usual calm and easy way with her friends and family close to support her. Not only did she have a gorgeous dress complete with a birdcage veil but she was surrounded by a beautiful bridal party who had some amazing dresses. Alyssa had a gorgeous bouquet from Felthousen’s Florist that even included fiddlehead ferns-it was truly unique. We started at a beautiful lake house on Crooked Lake where Ryan’s family vacations and it was AMAZING. Surrounded by windows with a beautiful view this house was perfect for some yummy light for getting ready pictures. We headed outside to the dock for some shots with the bridesmaids and then it was off to Birch Hill to get married.
Alyssa arrived to Birch Hill not just to a waiting groom but also to horse and carriage – a surprise from her dad. After a beautiful ceremony officiated by the amazing Rev. Joy Burke (and attended by a few peacocks) they were officially married and ready to celebrate! They were laughing and relaxed the entire day. it was such a joy to photograph them. After we grabbed a few quick shots outside, they headed off to the amazing reception space they had created. The room was filled with flowers and with the help of some uplighting from
Total Events, the room really shined! Todd from
Sound Control DJ’s kept the Birch Hill dance floor busy all night. We have never seen a crowd as wild as this on the dance floor, it was really fun! Here is a small peak at their beautiful wedding day. Enjoy!
